RIL invests Rs 30,000 crore in retail business in FY22

The company entered into a master franchise agreement with 7-Eleven, Inc.

Reliance Industries invested Rs 30,000 crore (around $3.76 billion) in its retail business in FY22, according to reports.

Reports said that the company added 2,500 new stores and 11.1 million square feet of warehousing space during the year.

The company acquired a majority stake in Just Dial in FY22, and entered into a master franchise agreement with 7-Eleven, Inc.

The company stated that it built on its portfolio of brands, offering a value proposition, the reports said.
