Sensex rises 433 points; Nifty ends above 15,800 levels

The Indian equity Indices ended 400 points higher led by Metals and Oil and gas stocks.

Finally, BSE Sensex ended at 53,161.28 higher 433.30 points, while CNX Nifty closed at 15,832.05 up 132.80 points.

The gainers on Sensex and Nifty were Coal India and ONGC surge 3%. L&T and HCL Tech also gain 3% higher.

The losers on Sensex and Nifty were Eicher Motors and Apollo Hospitals, down 1%.
