Axis Bank spurts on selling 90.50 lakh shares of Religare Enterprises

Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 749.80, up by 12.35 points or 1.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 737.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 739.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 746.70 and Rs. 734.45 respectively. So far 87040 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 826.55 on 06-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 622.60 on 20-Sep-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 751.50 and Rs. 709.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 209720.43 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 16.08%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 71.45% and 12.46% respectively.

Axis Bank has sold its investment of 90,50,000 equity shares held in Religare Enterprises (REL) on January 13, 2020, equivalent to 3.51% of the paid up capital in REL. Consequent to the sale, the shareholding of the Bank stands at 1.67% of the paid up capital in REL.
