The Indian equity Indices ended 900 points or 1.8% higher led by Titan and Hindalco stocks.
BSE Sensex ended at 52,532.07 higher 934.23 points, while CNX Nifty closed at 15,638.80 up 288.65 points.
The gainers on Sensex and Nifty were Titan and Hindalco surged 6%. Coal India and JSW Steel stock rose 4-5%.
ONGC and Adani Ports gain 4%.
Shares of Nestle India was down at 0.10%.
