The gainers on Sensex and Nifty were Axis Bank, which surge 2.5%. IndusInd Bank and HDFC gain 2% higher.

The Indian equity indices is currently trading higher led by Axis Bank and HDFC.

BSE Sensex is currently trading at 59,375.00 higher 557.71  points, while CNX Nifty is trading at 17,674.35, up 139.60 points.
